Great day of travel

We left Alice Town Bimini this morning with intentions of getting to Chub Key and spending the night.  The weather was great.  5 to 10 knots and small waves.  We met some nice folks from FL last night and after hearing of their adventures in Chub we were excited to be get there.  When we arrived we were surprised by the marina and club.  It was like something from Boca... very fancy.  Anyway, had great lunch and a couple of the local beers.. Kalik. We got a weather report and as bad as we hated to we said good-bye to Chub after only a couple of hours.  The trip to Nassau is only 35 miles from Chub, but across the northern part of Tongue of the Ocean.  Tongue of the Ocean is a wide open deep deep part of the ocean.  It was very calm today, but tomorrow and Friday are going to be rough.  We had a great dinner at Carmine's in Atlantis tonight.  Rick Hendrick is here.  He has his 3 boats with him... 130ft, 70 ish ft, and 38 ft!!! A man can never have too many boats!!!  We are off to Staniel Key in the Exumas next.  I'm not sure when we can move, but I will post again soon.  Neal
