What a difference a day makes!!!

I have enjoyed the stark changes of the seasons this year.  We had a hot, hot summer, a cool fall with leaves that actually changed colors and now we are having snow!!!  Its suppose to be 78 F in Alicetown next week!!!  I am hoping to get everything together this week and have the boat/truck packed to leave next Sunday (1/2/11) after church.

Bottom Paint

Boy... I hate to paint the bottom of the Pill Pusher, but it has to be done.  The paint goes on tomorrow.  Radio is installed and sounds great.  New speakers... an addition that I had not expected... sound great.  Sat radio module is on backorder, so no island music yet.  Cd sounds good and I got the am/fm antenna today.  Downloading music on the ipod.

Cold weather sure does take my anxiety about leaving away!!!  I don't remember December being so cold.

Not the best installer

I am not the best installer of electical marine equipment...  I proved that today.  I did get the new GPS in with maps of the Bahamas.  My new radio project is not finished.  I do see the light at the end of the tunnel. Hopefully we'll have music by Monday.

New Radio!!!

Our boat, Pill Pusher, is getting a new radio today!!!  Those of you who have fished with us know that the Sat radio doesn't work at all, FM doesn't work offshore and there is an old Kenny Chesney CD stuck in the unit.  I like Kenny's music as good as anyone, but 10-12 hours of the same 10 songs is tough!!!  So, I am changing unit today and hopefully playing some island music!!!
