I am not sure what changes have been made to blogger, but I am unable to upload photos from either computer.
Anyway, the weather has been nice here the last few days and it is suppose to be in the low 80s today. We are looking forward to having Art and Pat Swords here next week along with Pat's Mom Grace.
Hopefully I will be able to get the link fixed to add pictures in the next day or so.

Walton's Birthday and the Bishops arrive!
Today is Walton's birthday... 11 years old. It seems like just yesterday that he was born!! He and Miller have really matured during these short 3 months away from home.
Also today we have good friends from NC arriving at lunchtime! Reggie, Ladee, Reg and Ryan come in on the Delta flight and we can't wait to see them. Its only been a week since we were home, but it seems longer! The wind has finally died down and we look forward to showing the beauty of Exuma and the surrounding Cays to them. We'll post pictures!

Enjoying Saturday at the park
Here is Helene, Craig, Andree, Olivee, and Josie. We are enjoying Saturday afternoon in the park during the Heritage Festival. Walton and Miller are running around playing with the other kids and the music is really loud!!! We can actually hear the music back at the house several miles away!! The food vendors are cooking everything from roasted corn to curry Mutton to fried Snapper. What you ask is Mutton??? It is goat in this case, but may also be lamb or sheep. I've yet to try it...I went to buy a plate, but they had sold out for lunch... come back in a couple of hours they said... sorry my courage left me!!!

North Carolina Fishing!!!
Pops took Walton and Miller fishing at 'The Breakwater' and caught these 2 Rock!! They fished just a few minutes prior to a double hook up. We are enjoying our time with Pa Pa and Grandma. Had a chicken cook yesterday at the cottage and got most of our work done today. Walton and Miller have started their end of grade testing today. Having dinner with Harold and Susan tonight. I bought some green (fresh) sausage today for breakfast in the morning.

Wing on Wing
Race Day
This is a picture of one of the class b boats in the around Stocking Island race today. The wind was Easterly and blowing about 15 knots. There were probably 30 to 40 boats in the race. The seas in the Exuma Sound, ie Atlantic Ocean, were 5 to 7 feet and very close together. Our friends on Revel had a great race. We're not sure what place they came in, but they sure had a great time. This picture is taken from the Monument on Stocking Island, which is one of the highest places on any of the nearby islands. It was a beautiful site.

Volleyball Beach
Miller and Walton have started to enjoy playing volleyball... along with everyone else on Stocking Island!! Here Miller is studying for the serve!! I am playing in the regulation 4 on 4 tourney on Thursday... hope to get another flag... this time a blue one!! There are a fair number of good players, so it will be tough for my team to win, but it will be fun!
Revel in the Race!!!
Our friends, Clay and Diane, and the Revel Rascals raced in the in harbor race on Saturday. The Rascals are their 2 dogs... BB and Charlie. I think that they came in second place in their division. Way to go guys!!!! The wind was perfect for the in harbor race... at least from my power boater's point of view. The wind was probably around 15 knots and blowing a little north of direct east. This kept the waves down on the Stocking Island side, where the race was, but made the boats seem to fly!!!
Texas Hold'em
The Cruiser's Regatta started in George Town on last Sunday. They have a really organized plan of events... including infosessions with Chris Parker... the renown weather expert!! I played in a Texas Hold em tournament with 90 folks and came in second place. Trophy on the right side of the photo is not of a turkey, but of a hand of cards!!! My favorite prize in the pack was the 2nd place flag!!! I can't wait to put it in the 'game room' at home. We are participating in Beach Church today, with the boys singing in the children's choir.

Mahi for Supper
Walton and Olivier show off our Mahi that we are going to have for supper tomorrow night. We also have Red Snapper and Silky Snapper for the grill. We look forward to fresh fish.
Toothy Critters
We went to Long Island today. It started out very calm, but the wind picked up this afternoon and we had our 3rd rain of the trip!!! In fact it is still raining. We caught 1 dolphin, 3 Red Snappers, a Silky Snapper and a bunch of Cudas. I thought this was a good shot of some teeeeeth!! After fishing for a few hours we went to Cape Santa Maria Resort and Restaurant for lunch. They have one of the sleepiest cleanest nicest places for lunch that we have found in the Bahamas.
